Start with their life stage
Choose a complete cat food appropriate to your cat’s life stage. Packaging portions are a starting point; ask your vet about your individual cat, particularly with a health condition or a change in weight. Make food changes gradually.
Make meals observable
In a multi-cat home, separate feeding places help you notice who is eating what. Keep treats within the overall feeding plan. Fresh drinking water should always be available.
Record what matters
Log the food, amount offered and anything unusual in Catamica. If recording calories, use the food label’s value and the measured amount. The log does not calculate a medical diet. A sudden appetite change or refusal to eat warrants prompt veterinary advice.
