What the app stores
Catamica stores account and login information, profiles, uploaded files, care records, social activity, listings, saved items and account preferences. Security records may include session IP addresses, browser information and moderation history. Passwords are handled by the authentication system as hashes.
What other people can see
Your member name and public activity are visible. Publishing a cat exposes only its social profile fields and public posts. Care logs, medical attachments, appointments and treatments stay accessible through the responsible account. A classified’s contact details are available to signed-in members with verified email.
Why we use information
We use account data to operate your account, care records to provide private tools, public content to deliver community features, and security records to prevent abuse. Optional care-summary emails require your opt-in and can be turned off in settings. We use essential session cookies. This version has no advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts.
Service providers and access
Hosting and database services are provided through Hostinger. Account and optional care-summary emails use Resend when delivery is configured. If Cloudflare R2 is configured, it stores uploads. Routine moderation screens do not expose medical files; authorised infrastructure operators can access stored data where needed to operate or recover the service.
Control and deletion
Edit profiles, make cats private, delete uploads or export account records in My space. Deleting a cat removes its related posts and care records; deleting the account has a wider scope. Copies may remain in protected backups until those backups expire. Contact the operator for access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests, and for the applicable backup retention and international-transfer details.
